Alpha Action for Social Economic Development-AASED is a Non-Governmental Community Based Organization that empowers the vulnerable members of the community to attain a long lasting social-economic development with an independent, empowered, enlightened, vibrant, self-reliant community.
Alpha Action for Social Economic Development stands on the values of Peace, Unity, reconciliation, transparency and Accountability, Voluntarism, Solidarity, Gender, teamwork, Equal opportunity, Integrity and Ethics.

Justice, Governance, Right and Social Accountability
For improved Public Service Delivery and respect of Human Rights
AASED focuses on empowering communities to proactively demand for their Rights at various levels in the development process. Create awareness on the value of Human Rights among the community members, improve on Democracy right from family level, share experience from other communities, access information about governance and planning processes so that to act proactively in demanding for their democratic and human rights, good governance at various levels in the developmental process

Empowering the Community
Poverty is one of the biggest problems affecting the community members, many people are trap within the chronic poverty, and it has led to wide gap between the poor and the rich hence high poverty level in the country
ASED support community through Vocational skill Development training, Agricultural development, Village savings and credit Association, supporting small scale enterprise among others
Health, HIV/AIDS and sanitation
Promoting Community Health Initiatives
Poor health is one of the major factors behind increased poverty level among community members in Uganda, families spend a lot of resources treating preventable diseases and a lot of productive time is wasted hence ‘locking’ them in vicious circle of poverty. There are so many health challenges affecting communities right from communicable diseases and non- communicable diseases.
ASED focuses on addressing the challenges of health, it sensitizes the community on Reproductive Health’s care and support, Sanitation and general health issues
Climatic Smart Actions, Natural resource and Environmental conservation.
Promoting Environmental governance and Proper use of Natural resources
The environment has become a world – wide concern in the last decade, being the focus of discussions in a variety of forums both at national and international levels
People have been greatly affected by the effects of global warming
ASED create awareness in the community the danger of poor management environmental and adverse effects of climatic change as well as massive campaign for environmental conservation and protection
Women empowerment and Child protection
Promoting women empowerments
Gender equality is enshrined in Uganda’s constitution. Yet, gender-related norms, perceptions and practices continue to ensure that women’s and men’s opportunities remain unequal
ASED focuses on women empowerment to ensure that women have equal say and opportunities in the society
Education; Sports, culture and Intercultural development.
Building an Informed society
Availability of sufficient quality human resource is a major prerequisite for economic transformation
ASED advocates for proper inclusive education for the vulnerable members of the community and uses of sports and cultural activity for community development
